William Thr Bechtold is a French abstract painter living and working in Manchester, UK. Having moved from France over a decade ago in search of new challenges, he has drawn inspiration from the city's cultural diversity, creative spirit, and dynamic urban energy.

Beginning his painting practice in 2021, he has developed a distinctive body of work centred on experimentation, intuition, and the physical process of painting. Working primarily with acrylics, his abstract compositions explore identity, memory, movement, and the search for harmony between one's inner and outer self.

His paintings are held in private collections and have been acquired for contemporary residential, corporate, and hospitality environments, where their layered surfaces and expressive energy create lasting visual engagement.
